Shelves: pre-2008
Excellent examination of the Baconian perspective. My copy is the original 1902 release with a hand written dedication: "Hon. William L. Putnam with authors best respects Boston, April 24, 1902". The cover was very badly damaged and I rebound this copy in the fall of 2005.
