Ghetto, ghetto, ghetto! Lol, this book is so damn ghetto. But, that is what it's supposed to be. Wahida's chapter is okay, Kreesha is supposedly a trap star but gets some good dick and loses everything for it. Kiki's section was a little better, I like her writing style better, and she tells the tale of a girl who also lets dick get her in trouble, but her tale ends on a slightly more positive note. Overall, the book was okay. I like reading books in this genre but I prefer for the women to come...more
Wow, Wathida and KiKi brought the heat with these two stories people. This was a pretty quick read for me because it was sooo interesting that I could NOT put it down. I picked it up in passing at my local Walmart. There are two stories within the book, I NEVER buy books like this, ones written by two authors, but I am so glad that I did! This is a very good book filled with a lil hood drama, scandal and deception BIG TIME, it was very good!!! If you like urban reads, grab this one...even if you...more

Enemy In My Bed
Great story by Wahida.
For it to be a short story she told it all in many details.
Overall about Kree that is in the drug game have all these people in her crew that is either working with her or running with her.
She ends up talking to this guy name Reign that was locked up and got out she helped him get on with her with all of the contacts she have. She had a family business going on with the drugs she was selling...more
Honestly I liked this book but in a totally different way then I liked my Thug Series but the book was silly and raw. Though I didn't understand why Kreesha didn't upgrade from the whole situation, it was good. it silly and raw because that's how life goes in the hood for real, I couldn't help but laugh at 'em.
finished this book at the beginning of the school year. loved it! this book really opens the eyes of the naive to show how much you may not be able to trust your own bestfriend of a really long time like since high school and how shady bitces can be especially dudes.
well this book have two stories in it and the first story was about a girl who met this boy and she thought he was the one but he was really setting her up and at the end she got shot cause the boy that she met wasnt really in love with her
This book wass GREAT!
but look at who the Authors are,So it's no Surprise to me!
Wahida Clark and KiKi Swinson are some of my favorite Authors...
This book is definetely a page turner.

I learned that people who you really think loves you really doesn't. Its just a matter of time before you would find out and want revenge. But revenge isn't for everyone.

i really enjoyed this novella, it kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. The characters are easy to relate and it makes you feel as if you know them.

I wasn't let down at all with this book. I was a little surprised at something though- I love, love, love Wahida Clark so when i saw that this book was actually too seperate stories, one by each author, I thought for sure I'd like Clarks' better than Kiki Swinson. Well, needless to say, Swinsons' story blew me away! I wish it had been full length and I am so looking forward to reading more by her very soon. Wahida Clarks story was by no means a let down either but hers never are. Definitely a mu...more

This was a pretty good read. I didn't know it was 2 stories in one and probably wouldn't have bought it if I had known. I'm not a fan of KiKi Swinson, but I love Wahida Clark, however in this book, KiKi stepped up her game and I enjoyed her story better than Wahida's. I finally decided Wahida's main character was reallly dumb, but it was still filled with drama. They both were. Not a bad read at all.
Went to Walmart last night to get my daughter school supplies and SHAZAAM there was the book. I picked it up and true to Wahida Clark, it was hard to put the book down. I will finish the book tonight.

Wahida Clark was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. She decided to start writing fiction while incarcerated at a women's federal camp in Lexington, KY.
Her style is street, raw, and she has an imagination that's in overdrive. When you read her novels they are so real you are convinced of one of three things: that you are inside the book, you know the characters, or you just have to meet...more
