This was a passion filled romance. Nikki worked for Alex for years. She knew she loved him, and couldn’t bare to witness him dating other women, so she turned in her notice. She went on vacation and was shocked to wake up in a hospital bed with Alex sitting nearby. She was put on bed rest for 3 weeks. During that 3 weeks, Alex took care of Nikki, cooking for her, and carrying her when she needed to go to the bathroom. He was so sweet, and caring. My heart was touched at how much he loved and ...more

This book was a good read. Despite the fact that the book gave very little detail regarding the characters past it was okay. This book was about a woman named Nikki Day, who didn't like relying on anyone but herself. The book began when Nikki suddenly found herself awaken in a strange hospital staring at the man who was her previous boss. A man she grew to love over the years and tried -- apparently unsuccessfully -- to put some distance between herself and her ex-boss. The story has a twist ...more

I just love the Clay family and this series is always good and I have been hooked since I read "Stay..." by Allison Leigh years and years ago. Just got finish reading it again for about the 10th time. This book is a tie-in to Ms. Leigh's "Men of the Double C Ranch" and "Return to the Double C Ranch". This is a Silhouette Special Edition book which all of Ms. Leigh's books of these series are part of. Either Silhouette and/or Harlequin. If you like romance with just a hint of heat that ALWAYS has ...more

I liked the first books in the series best about the original Clay's but did enjoy this one too. Parts of this story seemed really unrealistic but I really liked Alex's character.

A frequent name on bestseller lists, Allison Leigh's highpoint as a writer is hearing from readers that they laughed, cried or lost sleep while reading her books. She’s blessed with an immensely patient family who doesn’t mind (much) her time spent at her computer and who gives her the kind of love she wants her readers to share in every page.
