The miscommunication and the resulting problems between Sarah and the Marquis of Heatherdown seemed drawn out in order to fulfill a page count quota. The marquis' sister seems a little schizophrenic, but she is the most competent character when she isn't crazy or complaining. I wish more time was devoted to her and her husband.
