In Florida this winter I got into the habit of eating popsicles at night. Not one popsicle. Usually at least 4. Grape. It got expensive. So I went on Amazon looking for popsicle molds so I could make my own. This book was suggested and it sounded interesting so I bought it and I'm glad I did. It has loads of ideas for all kinds of flavors, textures, mix-ins, and ways to make them pretty. Without this book I never would have decided to bring popsicles to a pot luck supper. They were a hit!
I just found some extra popsicle sticks today at Sur La Table so I can make the Mai Tai, and martini pops from this book! Lots of enticing recipes, and simple clear instructions. Perfect summer treats. Some friends and I have coincidentally been curious how we could make popsicles from the ice cream recipes in David Leibovitz's great book, The Perfect Scoop. Hope the recipes in this book can help us figure that out.
AND, the author is a local designer, so that makes the book extra cool, too!

Tons of yummy and exotic ideas for popsicles can be found in this little book. Since I don't drink alcohol anymore, it is going to become my Mr. Boston's guide for delicious summer taste treats. However, if you do enjoy a libation every now and again you might like this book as well. A recipe for sweet and salty Margarita pops are on page 105.
