Are they a pair of villains or heroes or...?

Drizzt Do'Urden's nemesis, assassin Artemis Entreri, and the Underdark's most cunning drow Jarlaxle, leader of the enterprising Bregan D'Aerthe, prove to be one unlikely, uncomfortable, but ultimately entertaining duo. Of course, this was done by RA Salvatore, so I gave it 5 stars, but the way he weaves his stories is so incredibly amazing. I really admire his ability. This trilogy follows Artemis and Jarlaxle through a series of interesting where Jar seems to be getting Artemis to open up on the inside. I think however, that it was a half won attempt. I think Artemis wouldn't be Artemis if he succumbed to the whiles of Jar. Regardless, it has added a whole new dimension to their characters.
