This is a wonderful, easily read and loving biography of John Steinbeck, my all time most favorite writer, hands down the BEST. I enjoy Steinbeck's writing and anything Steinbeck related. Ms Reef's writing is clean and clear and beautifully written. Anyone with an interest in Steinbeck will find this book enjoyable and helpful. It is illustrated with many photographs by important photo chroniclers of the time. The biography is easily read and anyone middle school and up would find it within ...more
