Generally I like the Time Out travel guides when I visit another country. Decent maps but more important good writers. Or writer. I am not sure if there is a whole bunch of people in Shibuya writing this guide in some weird Japaense coffee shop or not. But overall I pretty much trust them. They have an understanding of the culture and the recommended walking tours are always good as well.

This book is awesome.
It really helped me get around Tokyo and see some sights.
