I was a little disappointed with this book. It was well-written, as I expect with this author, and the main characters were well-drawn and believable for the most part. The main setting, in Scotland, was nicely portrayed too.
However the plot was really rather basic and predictable, mostly reminiscent of standard Mills and Boon. Attractive girl, hunky but bad-temperered guy, lots of conflict... some of it feeling rather contrived.
