I've always loved poetry...and magical creatures like fairies. So a book that combines both is a big hit with me. I'm sure my sister Anne knew this when she gave me this book for my birthday this year. The art is as good as the poetry. Truly a magical collection to add to my volumes of poetry!
Poetry: I loved this. I thought that the illustrations were fantastic. Some of the poetry was a little confusing, but for the most part it was very enjoyable. Again, this was a compilation of different poetry about fairies by different poets (including Shakespeare). It was very fun!

This book is whimsically and beautifully illustrated. I enjoyed the selection of poetry and came away inspired to add more poetry books to my "to-read" list.
