Tony Cohen
A spectacular read about a parent who seems utterly indifferent to her child. The notions of propriety, inappropriateness and practicality are concepts utterly foreign to the mother, who really comes across as highly unsympathetic...I can you leave your daughter alone in Morocco with strangers for goodness sake.

I read this book when I was 12. Of course, I was a little young to be reading this and I did not understand everything that was supposed to be written.
plot has potential for strength but the characters are not strong
I couldn't decide if the mother was very brave of very stupid....
