(a 14 volumes Manga with a sci-fi story)

9 out of 14: I'm almost there...
It remains true what I wrote for the first volume; and... I'm quickly becoming quite fond of the genre (not yet a manga addict I think and hope...), while I clearly understand why these are mostly reading for teenagers, and not really for adults.
The story goes on (and on...) and becomes more and more intriguing and dark, with some good turning points; there are now many characters and all of them gr

I love reading this because it is about angles. Here are some of the characters:
1. Shinji Ikari, EVA UNIT-01 PILOT,
NERV/MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT
AGE:14
Shinji was the "Third Child" chosen to pilot the monstrous Evangelion series: blomechanical units developed by the clandestine UN paramilitary agency known as NERV, ostensibly to fight entities code-named "Angels".Proving surprisingly successful in combat,Shinji recently emerged almost miraculously from a dissolved, visionary state inside his E

4 stars - 3 for a kitten that's killed off brutally in chapter 57. I don't know WHY anyone would think to draw or write something like that. Honestly it should be forbidden to go for such a cheap shock value trope. I'm not a wuss but I can't stand animal abuse even if it's fictional. Meh

While I've enjoyed this series so far, this volume was a bit of a repeat. Shinji does his baby thing where he cries a bunch, then leaves for the tenth time, only to be called back by Ryoji. Some good action, but doesn't really add to the plot.

(Reread) Read this in the Indonesian translation yeaaars ago. The Spanish edition has reached volume 16, I believe, and I'm jealous of that. More peopled need to read and accept Nagisa Kaworu as their lord and savior.

Fun fact: for all the Christian symbolism and allegory, no staff in the original production of the anime was Christian. Unbearable Lightness of Bullshitting Level: EVA.
