Comments on the Story:
The poems are excellent. My favorite is the sledding poem because when looking at the poem on the page it looks like a sled going down the hill. Also, she was very creative with how one poem goes into the other. For example, a poem about a missing mitten in the snow, leads into a poem about snow tracks leading to a blue dot in the snow (her mitten). There is also a lot of rhyme and rhythm in the book.

I loved this poetry picture book because its not the typical ABCB rhyming pattern. In fact, a lot of it doesn't rhyme, but the book still tells a story through poetry. I love snow so this book reminded me of my time in the snow.

I would use this with a poetry section during the winter season.
