Offers an excellent overview of world history, includes in depth discourse on Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. Great for brushing up on your facts or studying for a class. I'm a history freak, so I completely devoured this book with a highlighter and pencil, and it has proven to be very helpful with other more complex history literature.
