I have, admittedly, perhaps read more interesting Hocquard works, but I feel as if I, perhaps, did not give this the attention it deserves. The titular story is interesting, but what follows (which was albeit far "less" of the book in terms of space, I guess), struck me as even more so. I will revisit.

Emmanuel Hocquard (born in 1940 in Cannes) is a French poet who grew up in Tangier, Morocco.
