Rosa Cline
This was a beautiful story of wild horses. It follows a baby and his mother along with the group of horses they are with. How the oldest male takes care of them and watches over them. The illustrations are wonderful as the story is being told. In the back it tells about how Indians and Paleontologists believe the horses came from and how 'old' they are etc. And there is a glossary for homeschooled children to use for vocab words...or just a child to look up a word they may not understand.
