Perricon has a good program. He is all about whole foods, is a little misinformed on saturated fat, but does recommend grass-fed meats and coconut oil (cuddos!). He has some products that "he designed", but all the food items are available elsewhere. I picked up this book because it contains a section on T-Tapp, another book I just finished reading and liked. Overall, I think Perricon has a nice comprehensive program that will result in lower inflammation, which does mean health and better skin, ...more
Dr. Perricone has written an extremely informative, interesting, and easy-to-read book that explains ways to live a longer, healthier life from a medical, scientific point of view. Perricone was one of the first doctors to name inflammation as one of the major causes of aging. Now, his hypothesis is a widely accepted theory in the medical field. I am planning on reading more of his books and would not only recommend, but in fact encourage others to read them.
