Ciencin was a Florida boy who also was doing urban fantasy before urban fantasy was cool. Where are you now, Scott?

I read this series in middle school and was able to find it on Half.com to re-read it. It's a fast read, a lot more graphic then I remembered, but a fun little vampire story. About as much fun as I remembered from my first go through.

This book is a decent vampire story, but the main character and the writing style were a little too Miami Vice for me to love it.
