So, in the fifth volume of this series suddenly everything comes to conclusion, all the threads are explained and world order is saved. I was expecting more of the same from the previous volumes, i.e. that we would get more puzzles and more cryptic stories. But no, a real proper ending. I'm aghast!

The storyline works and the art is OK, but I still think the script is way to talkative and the art a bit stiff for my liking. And then there's the surprise ending, where XIII rescues several persons f...more
Another great story. It this volume part of the mystery is solved but the story still goes on.
This is a very generous 3-star review. Though the story is intricate and the art OK (though in my opinion a bit too elaborate), the excess of on-the-nose dialogue annoys me.
Also, there is something I don't quite understand. Near the end, Wally Sheridan, president Galbrain, Amos and the girl escape the explosion, but I don't really get how. Will it be explained later, or did I miss something? I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, but right now, I'm not really a fan.
I enjoy reading the series, bu...more

This volume concludes a great story line, but leaves XIII with new hints - and new tasks - to find out who he really is and what got him where he is... XIII proves to be an amazing series with every volume anew. Even with the conspiracy uncovered, the story promises to remain highly interesting.
