Featuring gas prices at ten dollars a gallon in 2013, this book was a semi-realistic read as gas prices are rising now in 2008. I found the characters very interesting, and yet found myself not satisfied with the character development. One of the supporting characters, Paula, was having marital problems since she didn't want kids and her husband did.
