Shelves: pulp, own-a-copy
I read the first quarter of this book thinking that would be reasonable enough time to establish some semblance of story and perhaps a protagonist plot point. Unfortunately I was wrong.

The author appears to have prioritized the "colour" of the story, with an emphasis on shock and controversy and unfortunately sacrifices plot and real character.

I found myself completely un-engaged and unsure as to whom I was supposed to be rooting for and what their goals were...

Read this years ago and loved it. Might be dated now but that's not always a bad thing.
