There's an awful lot of profound content in this little book. The will may precede the intellect, nevertheless, I feel that Fr. Remler's intellectual approach here does help a lot in resisting temptation. For example, he explains to not merely concentrate on avoiding sinning but on avoiding occasions of sin in the first place. Also I really enjoyed how he explained the benefits of being tempted.
