One could shelve this book under appetizers or under small plates because it contains recipes for both. One could shelve it under international cooking because the recipes are arranged by global region: the Americas, Spain, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, the Spice Route and the Far East. One could shelve it under fusion cooking because it offers such improbable recipes as Asian Guacamole, Shanghai-Style Dolmades and Quail Baklava. i haven't made anything from this yet, but it looks like it has a lot of interesting recipes....i do know though that i don't think i'll be eating bite sized food in spain anytime soon,,,,

Another book to 'own' and not just borrow. Great ideas for tapas meals though some seemed more trouble than they were worth - still a few gems in the mix to try out!
