Delicious Strawberry
While the two myths in here (Hades/Persephone and Atalanta) were written in a clear and simple way for young readers to understand, the illustrations were really sloppy. I've seen the artist's work before, so I am familiar with his style, but it feels like he really did an half-@$$ed job in here. The myths themselves are simplified like I said before, but for the most part accurate. Geraldine McCaughrean was born in 1951 and brought up in North London. She studied at Christ Church College of Education, Canterbury and worked in a London publishing house for 10 years before becoming a full-time writer in 1988.
