A pure reference work, this text presents all prototype and production tanks up through 1945 in chronological order for each country. It does not cover any particular tank in depth, and wont be used a s a primary reference for a given model. Its true strength is in covering the entire evolution of armor in all major and minor producers and as a means to identify rare experimental or variant tanks in old pictures.

Jean-Vincent
An old book with old pictures (some of very poor quality) and questionable editing, it does present pretty much all WWII tanks, including most variants and special conversions.

Recommended only as an introductory reference for people unfamiliar with WWII tanks and if found at a low price.
