I chose the Intruders because the cover has a intresting picture on it and it looks creepy and cool.
I also chose this book because when I read the back it was good. Just by the title it just looked good.

OMIGOD i just finished this book literally minutes ago and it was....amazing. My little brother had found it while we were at the library yesterday, and as soon as i saw it i knew that i had to read it. he let me borrow it, and i started it today and I couldn't stop. I love the characters, and especialy the setting. Saya ragu apakah cerita ini cocok untuk anak-anak, minimal remaja. Karena latar belakang cerita ini adalah dua keluarga yang akan menjadi satu saat orang tua mereka menikah. Dalam cerita ini kedua keluarga tersebut tinggal dalam satu rumah, padahal kedua orang tua mereka belum menikah! This book was acutally okay. =]
From an adult point of view that story was a bit cliche and predictable, kind of reminded me of the story about the Grudge.
From a young adults point of view this book would have been awesome. It kept me on the edge of my seat (despite me knowing that was happening) and I liked how the chapters weaved into the next, making you not want to stop reading.
Looking forward to reading E. Richardson's other book.

A quick easy read that aimed at young readers about a haunted house. Similar theme you get in most horror stories - kids move home and their parent is shacking up with another partner who has kids. The kids don't get on but the activities that happen within the house bring them closer together and they become more of a family unit. Maybe not perfect but certainly able to call themselves one.

I really enjoyed reading The Intruders. It defiantly scared me, but the writing was not the best. It was quite repetitive. He re used the same sentences many times in the same chapter. However, when i read it before i went to sleep alone in my room, I found it terrifying! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a thrill!

This book was actually a lot better than I expected! I was in a rush and just quickly grabbed it off the shelf in the library, and it ended up to be a pretty good read. It was a bit creepy in parts to be honest, and there was quite a bit of suspense. The turn out was pretty unexpected in my opinion, but I liked it.

Cerita yang mirip Goosebumps. Satu genre banget deh.
Buat gue, cerita ini seru. Tapi rada mengingatkan gue sama masa-masa smp gitu yah, dimana semua orang di kelas gue mengoleksi serinya Goosebumps (dan dimana newsletter Gramedia isinya buku2 R.L. Stine semua...)
Ceritanya sendiri menurut gue ngga horor-horor amat. Cuma rada freak aja ngebayangin ada orang yang niat banget menanam mayat di tembok. Ya eyalah setannya gentayangan!!
Tapi horor ini begitu... familiar gitu. More...

ya ampun gw berasa muda baca beginian..hiahahaha..
gw inget jaman dulu baca buku apaan tuh yang serem2...n gw suka buku ni karena cerita horornya ya memang cerita tentang hantu..bukan cerita tentang penyihir atau bogart atau apalah..yah setan2 buku jaman sekarang..jadi ga seru..nah ini balik lagi cerita hantu jaman dulu..
tapi sumpeh ya..gw bener2 berasa muda baca beginian..

The Intruders was a very interesting book. I dont really remember everything fromt he book but its a book you would want to read. It was scary and unsuspecting. The family that was living at the house was very scared and did not know what to do. They learned about eachother more and others. They stuck together through everything.
