Wow, I certainly got an education about Israeli politics from this... This book begins with the author's experiences during the Holocaust, and moves on after his liberation and emigration to Israel and involvement in Israeli government. I was touched by his survival of the war, and how he undertook, as a teenager the responsibility of saving his young brother, who went on to ultimately become the Chief Rabbi of Israel.
