I received this book as part of the curriculum in an Online Writing Course associated with the Institute of Children's Literature . The school might work wonders for some people, and according to the testimonials on their page it does, but it was a bust for me. I was lucky to get out before I lost even more cash! I wouldn't recommend the school to anyone, I think networking online and reading a good book about how to submit your work to editors will get you the same results.

Great collection of articles and shorts. Good reference for want-to-be authors, like myself. You can see what editors are looking for. I especially like the author's comments: very useful and motivating.

Again a book for my writing class and they have me skipping all over this one too. I've read allot on my own, so that is why there is a page number. I love the stories I've read so far in this book. This book is a GREAT way to learn how to write and what children and publishers are looking for in a writer.
Amy
