Who is Geronimo Stilton?

That's me! I run a newspaper, but my true passion is writing adventure stories. Here in New Mouse City, the capital of Mouse Island, my books are all bestsellers! My stories are funny, fa-mouse-ly funny. They are whisker-licking-good tales, and that's a promise!

Red Pizzas for a Blue Count by Geronimo Stilton is a book about a newspaper reporter mouse Geronimo that travels to Transratania with his sister and nephew to try to help save their cousin, Trap. However, when they get there, they find Trap working for some strange rats that appear to be vampires, not realizing until the end that the strange rats are actually bats. This humorous, adventure book is great for reluctant readers because of its short chapters and pictures. Its pages are also filled w ...more
The seventh book in the Geronimo Stilton series. This book starts with an odd phone call in the middle of the night from Trap to Geronimo. The connects breaks in and out and Geronimo is unable to get the whole story. Worried that Trap may be in trouble he sets out for Transratania, the land of vampire bats. Geronimo, his usual scaredy mouse self, took along Thea and Benjamin to help get Trap out of danger with the vampires. So cold and lots of garlic present in the townspeople the three set out ...more
Had to read this because my little brother asked me too before he decides to read it.. I actually quite enjoy reading it lol
This was not my favorite in the series. It was a lot about bats.
thats not 1 of my favourites....
I listened to this one on auto book with my son. Although I love Edward Herrman, the voice actor for the audiobook, I think the audio takes away from the uniqueness of the format - the way the text is formatted. Herrman is an excellent reader, with very distinct voices for each character, but it doesn't make up for the loss, IMHO. Without it, the story is formulaic and predictable - probably something good for emerging readers who doesn't see it as predictable yet - but not an enjoyable listen f ...more

Absolutely loved it!!! The storyline is interesting, it's funny and each character has a unique personality.

The layout of the book is excellent! For a chapter book it's very colorful, is filled with images and the creative typography adds to the design.

I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Trap calls his cousin, waking him and causing him to call his sister, waking her up. They go to bring him back. They find that he is a cook at a bat's castle and help him to laugh. They help his neice realize that she truly loves her fiancee.
Really boring and far to easy, the picture's are alright but not enough creativity, every book of this series have the same introduction and it's getting really lame...

His cousin was trapped in Transratania,a land full of vampire bats and his sister,Thea, and him ,went to rescue his cousin. Will they save him?
Geronimo Stilton books are great for kids. There is much use of colourful and different size fonts as well as great illustrations.
It was dumb. It was very boring. It has vampires and they just looked like people with red coats with vampire teeth just standing there.

Students in my class love this series. Funny, mysterious, cleverly illustrated and plays on words. Good choice for upper grade 2 - 4.
