Ministry. There's nothing else quite like it. That's why I love getting face-to-face and knee-to-knee with other ministry wives and peppering them with questions. How do you do this? How do you handle that?

That's also why I frequently write about being a ministry wife: I know I'm not the only one with more questions than answers. Certainly, I'm not the only one struggling

This was a good little book overall, especially for the Type A personality pastor’s wife. For me it seemed like a lot of the author’s struggles within her spirit were not my struggles. I wished there was more from my point of view. However, there was a lot here that were good reminders for me.

- Being (or not being) the cool church.
- Strength and power comes from God.
- Faithfulness is the goal.
- Uniqueness of each individual and individual ministry.
- The need for rest.
- We don’t need to

This book ministered to me because of the timing in my life. As a youth pastor's wife, it encouraged me so much and it also allowed me to take a huge sigh of Relief and say "phew! I am not alone!" Sometimes we need that. I recommend this book if you're looking for an honest, real insight on being a wife in ministry. It is raw and encouraging!
