A quirky, fun-filled look at prehistoric America. This book was a fun read for myself and two kids. The cartoon illustrations were the best part of this book, as well as the numerous mentions of poop and other bodily fluids :)

I'd recommend reading this to kids who love learning about the messier parts of history (or in this case prehistory) and who learn best through humor and pictures.

Who are you calling a woolly mammoth is a fun and entertaining history book. I think it couldnt be much better than it is. Getting to enjoy reading a history book is not something you do often.

Cute, but I worry that some of the humor/jokes in it might be believed by some children.
