Carter Hasegawa has been raving about these Warriors books about cats, both wild and kittypets (cats with owners), but as my work gets more hectic, I've had less time to read, so I found these manga versions at my local book store and I read four while I waited for soccer practice to end. They're addictive and I wish I had more of them! This one is about Sasha, a former kittypet whose owners get too old (the wife dies and the husband is sent to a care home), so she ventures of and in the wild sh...more

I know this isn't really a book but I had to read it or else I would miss part of the story. The pictures are really bad in this series. The ones on the Lost Warrior books were better. I mean manga=anime central and a cat is about the easiest thing you could draw in manga.

So this one was a LOT better than the other Warriors mangas, but it still wasn't the best. The illustrations were not as good, but they were still okay and seemed to capture the characters well, although the portrayals were inconsistent with other mangas. Also, the markings were very bizarre. I mean, what sort of cat has black triangles above his eyes? It's just unrealistic. It was interesting to see another side of Tigerstar, who has been repeatingly portrayed as a villain. But Sasha thinks of ...more

Another in the spin-off graphic novels of the Warriors series, again not very good but I read it anyway so I could get more of the story. There's some horribly, horribly corny lines in this at times, and the art really just is not appealing at all to look at. I thin part of the problem is the first person point of view this took on, it just felt awkward.

Cute illustrations, but the storyline is kind of sad: Sasha, a much-loved pet cat, is abandoned when one of her elderly owners dies and the other is shipped off to an assisted-living home where pets are not allowed. She must find a way to survive in the wild...and she also learns she can't be too trusting of the cats she meets in the woods.

I like this book and I like sasha but I don't suport her loving Tigerstar. I just didn't get what she saw in him. He's strong and powerful, but so what? He's evil!

I've read this book twice, but since I found out that the newest manga had already come out, I decided to just read it again, to review what the plot is.

Really liked this. It's short, makes sure you're going to buy the next one.

The illustrations could use some work, but they're very good.

This was pretty interesting- I liked finding out about Tigerstar and Sasha's relationship, something we never got to read about in the books- but I don't like the fact that it's a Manga book. Things happen too fast, and it's basically giving me a summary of whats happening, not actually writing it out. I would have liked it better as a normal written book.

Er...Its pretty good I guess. Not amazing, but its pretty good.
P.S. I can draw better then that and the cover looks like its mad out of metal. No offense to the person who drew that...

I got this last night and read it within the night... It was short but I liked how I got to see shadowclan's camp! Sasha was a lot nicer than I thought she'd be...and Tigerstar too!
