I was amused by the hyperbole of the title, and wasn't surprised to find it was a title Lubin bestowed on himself. An exhaustively researched book on a colorful character, with a wealth of information on Lubin's films as well. The author is often droll and does not gloss over the fact that many of Lubin's films are terrible.
Joseph P. Eckhardt, Emeritus Professor of History at Montgomery County Community College, in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, taught history and art history from 1968 until his retirement in 2007.
