a fascinating look inside the woodward and berstein story. i love all the personal details about their relationship with each other, their colleagues and the women in their lives and how they handled the early fame that watergate brought.

the book bogs down in a couple of places, but overall i enjoyed the meticulous research that went into it.

I couldn't wait to read this tale of what happened to this dynamic duo after Watergate.

Woodward is still the grand dean of investigative journalism at The Washington Post, while Bernstein keeps a lower profile.

Woodward writes explosive boos while Bernstein is still overshadowed by his Watergate years.

Fascinating stuff.

A good way to find out a little more about Watergate and a lot more about reporting. This story was well written, though I was hoping it would go deeper into the story.
Backs up my love for nonfiction written by journalists.

The fact neither man cooperated with the book hurt it quite a bit, I think. One gains little insight into either of them, except to pick up the fact that a) Woodward is self-important and b) Bertstein is a personal and professional slob, which readers probably kind of already knew.

My heart raced all the way through! I loved reading about what happened behind the scenes before, during, and after Woodward and Bernstein broke Watergate. The book allows the reader to fully understand the two unique characters and how their gifts brought the government to its knees.

Insightful. Made me really wish I'd taken Journalism instead of Broadcasting.
