This work is the result of the author's research as she discovered that her parents were Jacques and Lotka, key figures in the Resistance in the South of France during World War II. The book recounts her investigation as well as the interesting lives of her heroic parents.

A tragic story of love & heroism in the Resistance that deserves to be more widely known. It may have suffered a bit in translation though as the prose is sometimes clunky and names are often dropped in with no explanation or connection to previous events. So it can be a bit confusing in places.
