OK. "The Black Sheep and the English Rose" by Donna Kauffman is rather like Jane Bond meets a rich American Robin Hood. He doesn't realize she's working for British Intelligence and she's not sure WHO he works for but they keep running into each other while trying to 'procure' expensive artworks. I found this very amusing and pretty sexy, but never quite connected with either character.

Finn's father was a right old so-and-so who died filthy rich from all the little peopl More...

Entertaining story of love, lust and jewels with a pair of characters who can't keep their hands off each other but aren't sure if they should trust each other either.

Finn Dalton is a bit of a black sheep, he left a successful life as a district attorney to join his two friends in slighly-outside the law ventures to do good for others.

He remembers Felicty Trent, a British heiress, two years ago he left her in a hotel room and now he finds her in another hotel room, scantily c More...

I didn't really like the other Black Sheep books all that much and this one didn't appeal to me at all, so I put off reading it for a long time. But in the middle of a DC snowstorm, not much else to do, but read and I always love Kauffman's characters so I gave it a go. And I really like it. Way more than I thought I would.

This book not only had a nice romantic story, but an adventure plot as well. The relationship between Finn and Felicity Jane was fast and hot, but sometimes I felt the character development was a little too slow for my taste. As the reader, you get to know Finn now, but only get a taste of his history, or past. With Felicity, I felt that I didn't fully get to know Felicity as much as I wanted to get to know her, until the very end.

I loved this book!! It had actually been gathering dust on my TBR shelf and I finally got around to it and then wondered why it took me so long!! I loved Finn and Felicity, I loved the plot, and I loved the ending!!

Funny, sweet end to the triology. I think that I like Finn & Felicity best.
