So finished this amazing book last night. This book was very easy to read and has a similar story plot as James Patterson's "Kiss the Girls". The book was great. Full of suspense and tons of twists and turns! A good book to read on the beach, or just because. Very easy to read and holds your attention the whole way through!
Below is what I was thinking as I was reading the book.
I am currently reading this book and I'm having a hard time putting this book down.
I'm half way...more

This is my first experience reading material by author, Chris Mooney. I was very impressed with THE MISSING. The story line is action-packed and filled with twists. The whole idea in regards to the storyline has been used time-and-time again, but overall I enjoyed the book. I will be reading Deviant Ways, another Chris Mooney book in a few weeks, as it is a upcoming book of the month in my bookclub. So I’ll have to see how that book compares to The Missing.

Anyone that enjoys thrillers!
I was EXTREMELY impressed with this book. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out who the killer is and what's going on in these kinds of books but this one had a great twist at the end that left me shocked. I read it in a day simply because I just HAD to see how it was going to end. If you're looking for a thriller that will keep you guessing,I definately recommend this one!

Scarred by the murder and abduction of childhood friends, criminal profiler Darby McCormick vows to find a missing woman before the killer strikes again. Fast-paced and unrelenting action. A good thriller, but not as original as Mooney's first book, Deviant Ways. Recommended.

Very quick read, the author does a great job of keeping the story interesting so I kept turning the pages. Is not a "new" serial killer plot but does have some interesting twists.

Great psychological thriller. Very gripping. Fast paced. A little weird on the ending, but very good overall.

This book was good, a little predictable, and a little disturbing. I got a bit creeped out in parts!
