Great book about the issues young designers face as they leave school and enter the workplace. The author is Lee McCormack, by the way not Neville Brody. McCormack talks about his own experience leaving school in England and how he became a (quite successful) independent designer. Contracts, intellectual property, venture capitalists...all the things your teachers didn't tell you about in school. He also started a companion network/website to link young designers with professional to prepare the More...

A lot of good thinking points for designers that are just starting out. However, there was not much practical advice. Also, the physical printing was so stylized, that it was difficult to read (print in the inside corner, purple and gray ink).
