Songs of Faith was a super short read with some pretty deep meaning. Dorren is a 15 year old in 1976. The plot isn't super exciting as far as a rise and fall and climax, but I saw into the heart of someone who is constantly being left behind. Doreen is dealing with her parent's divorce and her father leaving, her best friend leaving, her little brother not talking... She has to learn how to deal with these things and begins to realize that people disappear and it hurts.

I think this is a great book. It certainly tells the story of a 13 year old girl great.
