This book was one I had gotten from a collection of "Free to a Good Home" books. Now I know why this one, in particular, was given away. It's absolutely awful.
I knew how the book would end halfway through. The heroine and her dashing hero (ick!) are so predictable and cookie cutter it's dreadful. What was supposed to be suspenseful was nothing more than yawn-inducing drivel.

This was an okay book, and definately not one of Johansen's stronger books. There were no real surprizes and it was predicable, but I did enjoy it enough while listening to it in the car back and forth from work and I really liked the Reader for this book, I believe it was Kate Burton.

It seems the more I read of this author, the more romantic the books seem to be. Most of the recurring characters are pairing up now... I do like the book, and it had some twists to the plot, but I wasn't amazed by it.

My first Johansen book. I thought from the blurb at the back that it was going to be a really good thriller but it turned out to be more romance than anything. Still, it was a pretty easy read.

Fast and easy read. I read this in under 5 hours, I didn't want to put it down. I have never read anything by Iris Johansen before, but this was a fun book. I will look into more from her.

This is a fascinating read from Iris Johansen. A riveting story about being in peril and finding someone you can trust along the way for the Eve Duncan series.

A nice light thriller to keep you occupied. Not one of Iris Johansen's best books, but it's a quick read and keeps you entertained.
