This is a book of short stories concerning dysfunctional people in dysfunctional relationships. There are second marriages, homosexual relationships, first marriages and significant other relationships – all of them fractured. Many of the characters have trouble relating to themselves, so they have trouble relating to others. It’s a fast read. Lisberger has a quick and engaging writing style, I just wished the sources of plot tension had been more varied.
