An excellent look at the details of mid-fourteenth centruy fashion. Needed a better glossary, but overall the best book of its kind and amazingly free of jargon or modern gender politics. More about textiles and tailors... Also well written, well illustrated, and a pleasure to read. The section on actors and Jugglers is a little weak, I felt, but it's not my thing and I may have it wrong.
