OK. Thought it would be better.
Interesting reading about being a medic in India/Nepal in the 1960's and in Scotland in the 1980's.

Times have changed I think!

Written in an engaging way, and easy to pick up and put down.

This book was added to the One World Library Project in conjunction with Pamela Smith's terrific program in 2009 on her life in Nepal. The 24 vignettes of the life of a Nepalese doctor reinforce my opinion that real life often trumps fiction. This book was fascinating! The title makes the book sound gruesome, but actually there is a lot of humor in this book.
