The story begins with a grandmother exuberantly retelling the Cinderella story for her grandchildren as they pipe in during their favorite parts. Grandma then offers to share bits from all different versions of Cinderella that they weren’t familiar with. As suggest by the title, this is done alphabetically, and the author gives readers a content page so they can know which page came from which country’s Cinderella story.
