A good volume! My gosh, this series really needs to decide if it's going to be good or bad. Then at least I'd know what to expect.

I really liked the 'fight', though I'm honestly not sure if that was just because Ichigo got totally and utterly thrashed or not. He seriously needed to be humbled and I'm very glad it happened. With that said, I think I am actually getting more attached to the main characters, or so I don't hate them anymore... Rukia at least. I liked her reactions, it was a little s

Synopsis: Ichigo Kurosaki sees ghosts, and fights...a lot. All of this is pretty normal for Ichigo, but then he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami (Death God) and member of the mysterious Soul Society. When a Hollow, an evil spirit, attacks Ichigo and his family, Rukia attempts to defeat the Hollow, but is wounded. To help him save his family, she lends Ichigo some of her powers, but something goes wrong, and Ichigo absorbs every last drop of her energy. Ichigo becomes a temporar

He uses this ability also known as his sixth sense which lead him to Rukia, a Soul Reaper who kills Hollows and help the lost spirits find there way to soul society where dead souls or spirits live. Review of Bleach: Volume 1

New Characters to know:

[image error] Byakuya Kuchiki: A Soul Reaper captain, he is also brother to Rukia. Why he acts so cold and...nearly evil to the reader's mind is unclear.

[image error] Renji Abarai: The vice-captain or Lieutenant of Kuchiki, he seems to know Rukia well but then why does he look like he's trying to kill her.

One of the best of the early volumes. The fight between Ichigo and Renji is awesome and Byakuya Kuchiki does not get enough
Bleach, Vol. 07: The Broken Coda is a traditional Manga book. This was my first exposure to a Manga book so it took me a while to get used to reading it right to left, back to front. I found myself wanting to read the left page first. It was also a little difficult to understand some of the text because of the language/names that were used (Ichigo Kurosaki, Nuki, Rukia, Renji Abara, Kuchiki, Orihime). I did appreciate the translations underneath the pictures, for example: Shihakusho is a soul re ...more
Ichigo's so ridiculously overpowered. It's fairly annoying, yet I'm relieved he actually lost? I mean, this is shonen manga, so of course the protagonist is going to have an edge, but I feel like Ichigo's near-death experiences don't-- and will never-- affect me emotionally as they should.

But hey, I love the art style, and the overall feel of this series, so, onward!

Like a few other reviewers, i'm not too sure about what i think of it overall. It is very fast paced and action packed, but i'm not sure jow the context is building for the characters and the point of this soul reaping and the soul society. I think i read these so fast i don't really take them in, but it is kinda nice to have some almost brain free reading!

Bleach 7 takes the series in a new direction. The fallout from Ichigo and Uryû's Hollow competition leads to Rukia's arrest. Can they save her from certain execution?

Most of this volume is a long drawn out fight between Ichigo and Rukia's captors. Lots of sword play and posturing.

Needless to say, Ichigo gets his ass handed to him. In all of this abuse he begins to learn that he might have powers and strength beyond what Rukia has given him. He also learns first hand the prejudices of the Soul So
After Ichigo gets the living suitcase smacked out of him, Rukia goes back to Soul Reaper HQ to face the music. Meanwhile Hat-and-Clogs starts to train Ichigo, and Orihime and Chad get trained by a cat. This series is going along nicely, and I am enjoying the change of pace from reading mire serious, and less frivolous stuff.

Bleach was definitely very interesting to read and different to what I usually read. I enjoyed the whole soul reaper concept and how we find out more and more about the main character as the story goes on.

It's a fast read and is easy to understand but gets progressively more difficult to follow parts of the story due to there being so many different characters that can be qualified as important in the progression of the story.

I would recommend it for the story line and the graphics but I do fe
Először is. Imádom a borítót.
A lókötő Urahara.. Háh.. Az a pasas haláli. Yoruichi is felkészíti

This book is about Renji and Byankuga going to the real world and their looking for Rukia. Rukia knew they came so she left Ichigo's home with a note. After Ichigo read the note he started to run after Rukia as a soul. Ishida fought too to defend him and RUkia and got hurt so did Ichigo but they go saved. Rukia got brought to soul society to get EXECUTED.
What i think about this book that it is like an edge of the seat book. You are so curious on what is going to happen in the next book. Ichigo f

Bleach, Volume 7: The Broken Coda kicks off with Renji and Byakuya serving up some serious ass-whooping. Byakuya's silent strength is so scary good!

This volume focuses on Ichigo's training to prepare him to enter the Soul Society. Since Kisuke is doing the training, there is a lot more of him in this issue. Woohoo!

Although there isn't much action, it was still really entertaining. I think this volume and the next will build the excitement for when Ichigo finally gets to the Sou

Ichigo Kurosaki has ability to see ghosts.
The story begin from the day when he meet with one of the member of Soul Society name Rukia Kuchiki. The member of that society are called shinigami.

first of all this is the review for volume 1 to 10.

if i don't compare it with any other Manga novels then, it was a great experience to read this series.
the whole concept of Soul reapers was neatly implemented.
And not to forgot it sure was page turner.

but when i compare it with other (and my fav.) Manga series Naruto it was ok.
the character building was not so great. it's almost a headache to remember their names,
and there r lot of other things,

but all in all Worth 4 stars out of 5.

I forgot how much I love Byakuya. *sigh* This is where the series picked up for me when I read it through the first time. (It had been so long since I'd read any of these that I had to go back and read them again, like I did for Samurai Deeper Kyo.) I think it was this volume that originally made me devour the rest, and it's pretty much the same now. The Soul Society and its characters were the reason I was able to get through a book a night.

And Byakuya. Definitely him.

This book is abuot Rukia getting taken away by her step brother because she broke laws in Soul Society, which is where spirit reapers live. Ichigo feels that he was the cause for Rukia's demise and so he attempts to rescue her. However, he was not strong enough and so he accepts training from a store owner, who's secretly disguised as a former captain from Soul Society. When Ichigo got stronger, he traveled to Soul Scoeity.

This one's really 4.5 stars. Gotta say that the guy in the funny hat & sandals is pretty mean to poor Ichigo. He just wants to halp his friend; do you have to get such fun out of putting him through such brutal training??

(That being said it's all familiar territory to anyone familiar with the tropes of your ordinary action film or tv series of this genre. Just moves slower because it's manga, which is fun.)
