So it's a rare, rare thing that I rush out to buy a book. I picked this book up from the library. See - library? Cheap, cheap, cheap. But I got 30 pages into this book and I absolutely KNEW I had to have it, as soon as possible. In short, I have never encountered food/wine writing like this. Kramer takes the reader way past "does it taste good?" to discussions of water, sunlight, altitude, fog, fruitfulness, density - and all in a way that you REMEMBER everything you read.
