Baby Loves Peekaboo is a colorful touch and feel book intended for the nursery age. It also has flaps to lift to play peekaboo with items such as a teddy bear and a kitty. I gave this book 4 stars because I think it is very fun and interactive. After using this book for about 1 week straight, I have taught 2 babies, 8 months and 10 months, to play peekaboo! I thought Gavin would like this because he plays peekaboo. He didn't really get into lifting up the flaps to "play peekaboo" with the kitty, teddy, etc. But I thought it was a cute idea and maybe it's because he was easily distracted at the library. He did like touching the parts with different textures. And he did get into playing peekaboo with the baby on the last page. Maybe he thinks peekaboo is only for people? Maybe he needed some repetition before he could get into it? I'm curious to read ...more
My five month old is just starting to enjoy this one. He likes playing peekaboo and loves seeing the babies. He has no interest in touching the tactile parts yet but then my daughter never liked them at all (it will be interesting to see if he is the same).
