Recommends it for: people who like story swings

I can understand why Lardner is very respected as a writer by all those other writers that came after him (like Salinger), for his unique way to depict circumstances and the singular way he "administrates" his characters. This little compilation is essential, but a startup to go deep in the author's style of writing.
