Oh wow~ I feel so comfortable in this world that Banri Hidaka created for this manga~ I also love the fact that she has a tendency to bring in a bunch of other characters from her other works! It's so cool seeing these awesome people that are all from other mangas she's done! They're so cooool! It really makes me want to read the other series she's made! But ah! XD I'm totally getting carried away by my happiness~! So in this volume we finally get to see the love interest developing. *Huffs happ ...more
Drama, drama, so much drama! Still the consummate shoujo manga, this second volume of VB Rose was one big squirming ball of angst and fluff! That is not a bad thing, but the pace was sort of slow. I got some weird comments from random people about the cover from this one. I had just read volume one and I called the bookstore I wanted the second. Its a very enjoyable read just like all her others! Mitsu is just so cute in a chibi form and Yukari well his expressions always make me laugh. Poor Ageha is always stuck in the middle of the mess.
I really like the behind-the-scenes details about the world of bridal shops and dress making that you get throughout the volumes of VBR. And I like the developing connecting between Ageha and the two partners of VBR - nothing super romantic yet, just genuine affection and admiration. Ageha is clearly becoming a core part of life at VBR...
Contains Chapters 6 - 11: I really enjoyed this volume and watching how the characters relationships are developing. This volume also introduced some fun new characters including Mitsuya Kuromine's younger brother.
