Pride cometh before a brothel.

Huh? What? Nozomi was a street fighter who hadn't been defeated...yet. He boasted if someone could beat him he would be that person's slave. So along comes tall dark and deadly who immediately dislocates Nozomi's ankle and punches out his lights. Meaning, he's the winner!

Nozomi wakes up as property of an Internet peep show called "Digital Angels." Until he makes 5 million hits on his web counter he is to provide 24 entertainment to the clients. Of course our little

By the mangaka of many yaoi titles such as the famous Yellow , Steal Moon is a Sci-Fi tale that centers around Nozomi, a street fighter (who has, you know no bruises and a perfectly beautiful face but you have to remind yourself bishie’s can’t be beaten up and ugly). Nozomi is king of the street and so full of himself that he takes Coyote’s challenge in spite of the fact if he loses, he has to become Coyote’s slave. Naturally Coyote cleans his clock and Nozomi wakes up with an explosive collar a ...more

This series is set in the same universe as Makoto Tateno's series, Blue Sheep Reverie, Volume 01. The characters Kai and Lahti make appearances in this series which is very exciting because I love the Blue Sheep series. Interestingly, Makoto Tateno wrote Vol 1 of BSR and then the 2 Volumes of Steal Moon. It wasn't until 8 years later that she finished 3 more volumes of BSR after fans were re-introduced to Kai and Lahti in this Manga. I'm very glad she is continuing her BSR series because while t ...more

Man, I'm heavily disappointed by this manga. I couldn't come to like the characters and the story was lame. I really do not know why so many people like this.

I've read better, but I've read worse. The storyline is weak and doesn't draw me in or cause me to feel emotionally connected to the characters.

Well this book is a bit odd at first, it doesn't make much sense. Eventually towards the end the plot solidifies and twists leaving you enthralled enough to be angry that volume one is over. Worth reading if you are a fan of the manga-ka or yaoi with a science fiction flavor.

That bishonen characters can still be manly without one of them looking like they're underage. I LOVE Tateno's males--they're sexy and hot and LOOK like guys!

More like 2 1/2 stars. Tateno is my favorite manga-ka, but this one didn't really work for me. Visually gorgeous, though.

liked the 'shota'-parts (not really shota, just hints of it), but the manga was nothing special, still ok
